Digital Marketing Apprentice

Airband are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to support the marketing department as the company rapidly expands. As an Apprentice duties will include organising the marketing and social media campaigns to increase the reach of the company. You will be organised, self-motivated and and have a passion for all things marketing.

Airband specialises in delivering innovative, cost effective superfast broadband solutions to rural communities across England and Wales, turning some of the hardest to reach parts of the country into some of the best connected. Having just won contracts in Devon, Somerset and Wales we have expanded our team and are looking to recruit someone to help within the marketing team.

The main tasks will include:

  • Market research
  • Organising and attending events
  • Assisting with the creation of marketing campaigns
  • Producing online and offline content
  • Tracking and analysing results
  • Designing, creating and sourcing marketing material
  • Monitoring social media channels and initiating social media activity

Desired skills

  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent content writing skills
  • Well-organised and customer-oriented
  • Competent in using MS Office and marketing applications (online analytics, email builders, AdWords etc.), and ideally knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Relevant Marketing/Business qualifications

    Monday – Friday: 9am – 5.30pm

Training to be provided

  • Advanced Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard 
  • The successful candidate will undertake an eighteen month nationally recognised qualification through TDM
  • This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in a training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions
  • You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours which will lead to the achievement of the qualification.
  • These block weeks will take place at either of our training centres, in Birmingham or Worcester, whichever is more suitable for your location
  • You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body
  • This is a Level 3 qualification

  • KM3 Digital Marketing Business Principles
